Les Eisriesenwelt sont une grotte naturelle de calcaire et de glace située à Werfen, en Autriche, à environ 40 km au sud de Salzburg. La grotte se trouve à l'intérieur de la montagne Hochkogel dans la section Tennengebirge des Alpes. C'est la plus grande grotte de glace au monde, s'étendant sur plus de 42 km et visitée par environ 200 000 touristes chaque année. Les Eisriesenwelt ont été formées par la rivière Salzach, qui a érodé des passages dans la montagne. Les formations de glace dans la grotte se sont formées par la fonte de la neige qui s'est drainée dans la grotte et a gelé pendant l'hiver.
