La ville de Hechtel-Eksel dans la province du Limbourg nord planifie un chemin de cycled circulaire dans une forêt qui emmènera les cyclistes vers les cimes des arbres. C'est une idée similaire aux passerelles dans les cimes, qui invitent les piétons à emprunter des ponts serpentant le long des cimes d'arbres. De telles attractions sont particulièrement populaires dans les forêts africaines. Le chemin de cycled dans les cimes grimpera à 10 mètres et mesurera 700 mètres de long.
