Wervicq est une ville néerlandophone de Belgique située en Région flamande dans la province de Flandre-Occidentale. Elle inclut Geluwe et Wervicq, compte environ 18 000 habitants et se trouve sur la rivière la Lys qui forme la frontière avec la France et la commune de Wervicq-Sud.Outre Wervicq-centre, la commune comprend la section de Geluwe, située au nord-est, près de l'agglomération de la ville de Menin. Le hameau rural de Kruiseyck se trouve au nord de Wervicq.
