La Tour de la Vierge à Zichem est un bâtiment du XIVe siècle (1383-1430).
La tour est également appelée Tour de la marque, Tour de Lanteern ou Vat de Zichem. La fonction que la tour avait n'est pas clairement définie à ce jour. Elle a pu être à la fois une tour de défense et une tour d'habitation avec beaucoup de prestige. Le nom de Maagdentoren ferait référence à une légende, tandis qu'une étude en 1969 indique que la tour aurait été une tour de défense. Markentoren (mark=limite) y fait référence.
Willem II de Juliers a vendu Zichem en 1383 à Renier I de Schoonvorst. Son fils, Renier II de Schoonvorst, a fait construire la tour. Son blason est visible au premier étage. Vers 1430, Renier a vendu ses biens à Thomas II, seigneur de Diest.
Pendant la Guerre de Quatre-Vingt Ans, la tour a perdu entre autres son pont-levis et son étage supérieur. Des restaurations ont eu lieu en 1865, 1903 et 2007.
