Suite à l’incendie de l’ancien édifice du XVIIIe siècle en 1918, l’architecte Henry Lacoste a reconstruit cette nouvelle église s’inspirant du style Art déco qu’on trouve rarement dans les édifices religieux. A l’extérieur, on remarque la façade triangulaire et le haut clocher octogonal séparé du bâtiment et qui fait un peu penser à un minaret.
A l’intérieur, grande nef, chœur dépouillé, belle luminosité et étonnants vitraux qui rappellent le modern-style. Grands arcs en béton armé, sans piliers. On dit que le curé de l’époque ne souhaitait pas de piliers afin que ses paroissiens agriculteurs ne s’y dissimulent pas pour parler de vaches, moutons ou pigeons…
