La Peereboomhuis a été nommée d’après ses habitants au 19ème siècle, à savoir la famille van den Peereboom. Elle a été construite en 1726 et est la plus ancienne maison de Ledegem. Protégé au titre des monuments depuis 1974, le jardin est classé paysage. Un cadran solaire a été placé contre la façade sud. Sur le mur vivant, nous voyons des ardoises avec l’insigne du lys, caractéristique de la domination française.
