Le château de Nymphenbourg à Munich était autrefois la résidence d’été des princes-électeurs et des rois de Bavière de la maison de Wittelsbach.
Le palais avec son parc de 180 hectares est l'un des grands palais royaux d'Europe et est une attraction populaire avec plus de 300 000 visiteurs par an. Avec une largeur totale de 632 mètres , sa portée dépasse même le château de Versailles.
