Le barrage d'Eckertalsperre est un barrage situé près de Bad Harzburg dans le Harz, qui a été mis en service en 1943 et retient l'Ecker et ses affluents. L'installation, exploitée par les Harzwasserwerke, sert à la fourniture d'eau potable, à la protection contre les inondations, à l'augmentation des niveaux d'eau en période de sécheresse et à la production d'énergie.
Le barrage est constitué d'un mur en poids comme ouvrage de retenue. Lors de sa construction, du béton de ramassage vibrant avec des granulats allant jusqu'à 300 millimètres de taille a été utilisé pour la première fois en Allemagne. Le mur pèse 420 000 tonnes.
