Le Cap Arcona était un paquebot allemand de grand luxe dont l'histoire est liée à l'une des plus grandes tragédies maritimes de la Seconde Guerre mondiale.
Le 3 mai 1945, il est coulé par l'aviation britannique avec deux autres navires, alors qu’il transporte des milliers de déportés sortis du camp de concentration de Neuengamme. Cette tragédie a causé 5 fois plus de morts que le naufrage du Titanic.
