Alaquàs, en valencien , est une commune de la province de Valence, dans la Communauté valencienne, en Espagne. Elle est située dans la comarque d'Horta Oest et dans la zone à prédominance linguistique valencienne. Sa population s'élevait à 29 561 habitants en 2019 .
Le nom de la localité vient de l'arabe الأقواس , «les arcs» ou «les arcades». On ne sait avec exactitude à quels arcs ce nom fait référence. Plusieurs hypothèses ont été énoncées: ceux de l'aqueduc reliant la ville à celle de Manises; ceux passant au dessous du cours d'eau de Poyo; ou encore ceux du château musulman de la cité.
