L'édifice frappe par ses grandes dimensions et ses traits caractéristiques de l'art roman en Rhénanie. C'est un des rares exemples de ce type en Moselle. La façade massive est flanquée de deux tours de hauteurs différentes. Sa décoration relève d'une facture très ancienne avec un portail roman du 12° siècle. Ouvert à partir de 10h le matin. Visite commentée sur réservation auprès de l'Office de Tourisme du Pays du Saulnois au 03 87 01 16 26.
