Itinéraire mixte

Au départ de la station des Orres, une succession de pistes forestières en balcon du lac de Serre-Ponçon conduisent jusqu'au village de Pontis aux portes de la vallée de l'Ubaye.
Arrivé au bord du lac de Serre-Ponçon à l'emplacement du village noyé d'Ubaye, remonter la vallée en direction de Barcelonnette puis Sainte-Anne La Condamine point de départ de la piste du Parpaillon.
La présence de congères et de glace peut rendre délicate la traversée du tunnel du Parpaillon. Arrivé au village de Crévoux après une belle descente dans la forêt de mélèzes, reprendre une piste roulante jusqu'aux Orres.
