Chickney est un village et une paroisse civile près de Broxted et au sud-ouest de Thaxted dans Uttlesford, Essex, Angleterre. En 2001, la population de la paroisse civile de Chickney était de 38. Chickney a une église appelée l'église de Sainte-Marie, qui est classée Grade I et est une église redondante sous la protection de l'Eglise Conservation Trust. La gare de Sibleys dans la paroisse a fermé en 1953. Chickney a été mentionnée dans le Domesday Book sous le nom de Cicchenai.
