Malcesine est une commune italienne d'environ 3 500 habitants située dans la province de Vérone en Vénétie.
Malcesine est située au pied de la chaîne du Mont Baldo à proximité du lac de Garde, qu’elle borde sur sa rive orientale , s’étageant sur un petit promontoire. Presque à la limite de la province de Trente, elle constitua longtemps un des postes avancés les plus septentrionaux de la ville de Vérone, dont elle est distante de 54 km.
