Doetinchem (néerlandais : à la fois Deutekem et Durkum ou Dörkum) est une ville et une commune située sur l'Oude IJssel, dans l'Achterhoek, dans la province néerlandaise de Gelderland. La commune compte 56.100 habitants (1er avril 2011, source : CBS) et a une superficie de 79,07 km² (dont 0,57 km² d'eau). Ainsi, Doetinchem est la commune la plus densément peuplée de l'Achterhoek. Plus de quarante pour cent de la population est d'origine protestante et presque autant est d'origine catholique.
