La lande de Kraloër forme avec la lande de Bender et la lande de Dwingeloosche un complexe de landes contigu dans le parc national néerlandais de Dwingelderveld. La lande de Kraloër est gérée par l'Office national des forêts. La lande de Dwingeloosche et la lande de Bender sont gérées par Natuurmonumenten. La zone constitue la plus grande région humide de landes d'Europe de l'Ouest. Du côté nord de la zone se trouve le Kraloërplas.
