La Hantes o Hante è un fiume del Belgio e della Francia, affluente della Sambre che fa parte del bacino idrografico della Mosa. Nasce presso la fattoria di Hurtau a Froidchapelle, attraversa l'estremità orientale del dipartimento del Nord e rientra in Belgio dove confluisce nella Sambre, a Labuissière nel comune di Merbes-le-Château.
Nascendo a Froidchapelle, il fiume attraversa i villaggi di Fourbechies, Renlies e Solre-Saint-Géry per arrivare a Beaumont. All'uscita di Beaumont attraversa Leval-Chaudeville prima di passare in Francia dove irriga i villaggi di Reugnies e Bousignies-sur-Roc prima di rientrare in Belgio a Montignies-Saint-Christophe passandouna sotto l'antico 'Pont Roman'. Risalendo verso nord passa a ovest di Hantes-Wiheries e si getta nella Sambre a monte di Labuissière.
