Per ricordare in modo permanente questo felice episodio della storia di Vollezele, sabato 12 agosto 2000, dopo una seduta accademica con mostra, è stata svelata la statua di Brillant. Ron Deblaere di Lichtervelde è l'artista che ha immortalato Brillant in bronzo. È un regalo a Vollezele della società Beaulieu di Wielsbeke. Domenica 13 agosto 2000, una sfilata storica con il famoso cavallo da tiro belga come protagonista ha attraversato le strade. Mercoledì 20 settembre 2000, durante una breve cerimonia, è stata collocata una targa commemorativa presso i quattro principali allevamenti di cavalli.
