Durante la Prima Guerra Mondiale gravemente danneggiato e restaurato tra il 1920 e il 1923 secondo il progetto di A. Van Coillie (Roeselare); danni della Seconda Guerra Mondiale restaurati nel 1951. Restauro nel 1979 con rimozione della scala a chiocciola e ricollocazione delle facciate.
