Nella cimitero militare britannico ‘Dozinghem Military Cemetery’ riposano 3.312 morti della Prima Guerra Mondiale. Il cimitero è stato progettato da Sir Reginald Blomfield e ha una superficie di circa 12.300 m². Il nome Dozinghem – anche il nome dell’ospedale da evacuazione della Prima Guerra Mondiale – deriva dal verbo inglese 'to dose': somministrare un medicinale o un anestetico in piccole quantità.
