La Torre Vlooyberg sembra essere una scala verso il cielo. È alta 11,28 metri, lunga 20 metri, pesa 13 tonnellate e poggia su un basamento in cemento massiccio. Rimane in piedi grazie a 12 cavi di 35 metri ancorati nella montagna. La rivestimento in acciaio corten è un winking verso la arenaria ferruginosa nel sottosuolo. Se scalate i 55 gradini, vi troverete a oltre 90 metri sopra il livello del mare. In giornate limpide vedrete a sinistra le torri di raffreddamento di Vilvoorde e a destra le miniere di Beringen. La Torre Vlooyberg è stata utilizzata come scenario nella serie Quattro Callboys.
