Niente fa sospettare che il piccolissimo Hoeke, sulle rive dell'allora Zwingeul, fosse una città portuale importante proprio come Damme all'epoca. Sulla ponte trovi l'hotel e bistro Welkom, che apprezza il ciclista con un'elegante rimessa per biciclette, mappe per ciclisti, noleggio biciclette e soprattutto un ampio terrazzo. Ci sono pancake, coppe di gelato, torta di ciliegie calda e un menù di birre molto vario. Chiuso il giovedì.
