Il Nuchten è una riserva naturale nella regione di Dender e è gestita dall'Agenzia per la Natura e il Bosco. La foresta paludosa è l'habitat ideale per diverse specie di uccelli ed è percorribile tramite un sentiero di legno lungo 600 metri. In passato qui si estraeva torba e in seguito si tentò di bonificare l'area. Questo tentativo non riuscì e la pompa fu trasformata in rifugio per pipistrelli. Sentieri solo per escursionisti e ampie strade di campagna in un ambiente talvolta infestato dove con un po' di fortuna si può avvistare un cerbiatto. Parcheggio e partenza in Hollestraat, Idegem (gps numero civico 6), chi arriva con il camper può parcheggiare presso il cimitero o nel parcheggio adiacente del club di padel, nella stradina tra la ferrovia e il numero civico 6.
