Nell'area naturale di Kolkerven, il Laambeek si snoda tra prati e terreni da fienagione, lungo boschi e stagni. I terreni da fienagione, delimitati da muretti in legno, sono reliquie del paesaggio di secoli fa. Storicamente, questo paesaggio chiuso è molto interessante, ma anche dal punto di vista ecologico, un'area di piccole dimensioni come questa ha molto da offrire.
