Questa passeggiata ti porta lungo il GR 129 e il GR 5A attraverso la zona sabbiosa a est di Bruges. Dopo aver attraversato il tranquillo canale Gent-Brugge-Oostende presso Beernem, ti inoltri tra campi aperti e viali silenziosi fino alle Meersen di Assebroek. Un vecchio letto ferroviario ti conduce al confine di Bruges. Attraverso la Begijnenvest e il romantico Minnewater raggiungi la stazione, ma nulla ti impedisce di percorrere il bellissimo centro città per un drink e uno spuntino.
ATTENZIONE: c'è una deviazione temporanea intorno a Gevaerts Noord a Beernem. Un vicino arrabbiato blocca il percorso (da un lato con cartelli, dall'altro con insulti verbali verso i camminatori). Quindi, si prega di seguire la deviazione segnalata. Il gpx è stato aggiornato.
