La Paulinerkirche era una chiesa protestante nel centro di Lipsia, in Augustusplatz. La costruzione consacrata nel 1240 era la chiesa del monastero di San Paolo di un convento domenicano. Dopo la sua dissoluzione, nel 1543 tutti gli edifici del monastero furono trasferiti all'università di Lipsia nell'ambito della secolarizzazione.
La chiesa universitaria, che aveva sopravvissuto alla Seconda Guerra Mondiale, venne demolita nel 1968 su iniziativa dell'università e dopo una decisione dell'amministrazione comunale guidata dalla SED. Al suo posto oggi sorge il Paulinum – Aula e chiesa universitaria di San Paolo, un nuovo edificio che nella sua architettura riprende elementi della chiesa precedente.
