Il Funne è un affluente sinistro e sudorientale del fiume Stever lungo circa 22 km. Il suo bacino idrografico è di oltre 55 km².
Il Funne nasce a nord della frazione di Cappenberg del comune di Selm, a un'altitudine di 98 m sul livello del mare. Inizialmente scorre per circa tre chilometri in direzione est, prima di deviare verso nord-est fino al confine di città di Werne. Lì fa un'inversione di marcia e prosegue poi verso ovest. Passando per Südkirchen e Selm, sfocia nella Stever dopo 21,88 km. È il fiume più lungo del circondario di Unna a nord.
