Il percorso escursionistico presenta le Dahmewiesen tra Oderin e Märkisch Buchholz. Il lago Oderiner viene vissuto sia sul lato ovest che su quello est. Un tratto fondamentale dell'escursione attraversa l'area protetta Mahnigsee-Dahmetal, mentre il corso originale della Dahme è visibile per lo più sullo sfondo.
Il paesaggio si presenta vario. Boschi di pianura, prati umidi, pinete e corsi d'acqua si alternano. Sul lago Oderiner è possibile nuotare in punti balneabili naturali. Il tracciato del percorso è stato documentato nell'ambito di un progetto LIFE dalla Fondazione NaturSchutzFonds Brandenburg.
