Kongens Nytorv (italiano: Nuova Piazza del Re) è una piazza situata nel centro di Copenaghen in Danimarca. La piazza si trova tra la via commerciale principale Strøget e il canale di Nyhavn (italiano: Nuovo porto), uno dei luoghi più pittoreschi di Copenaghen.
La piazza fu creata dal re Cristiano V nel 1670 ed è abbellita al suo centro da una statua equestre dello stesso re vestito da imperatore, opera dello scultore Abraham César Lamoureux.
Numerosi edifici ufficiali circondano questa piazza, tra cui il Teatro reale, il Palazzo di Charlottenborg (oggi sede dell'Accademia reale delle belle arti), l'Ambasciata di Francia, l'Hotel d'Angleterre e il grande magazzino Magasin du Nord.
