Il fiume Gorgos, chiamato in alcuni tratti fiume di Castells, è un tipico torrente mediterraneo che scorre per la maggior parte nella comarca valenziana della Marina Alta. È stato dichiarato come LIC da parte dell'Unione Europea, a causa dell'alto valore ecologico e ambientale di questo fiume.
Questo fiume nasce nelle vicinanze della popolazione di Fageca, dove raccoglie le piogge delle montagne di Serrella e Alfaro. Ai tempi degli arabi era conosciuto con il nome di fiume
