Bell'escursione se la salita completa verso il pico è un po' troppo (o se vedi troppe nuvole attorno alla vetta). Si sale fino a San Bartolomé de Tirajana per poi iniziare la discesa verso Santa Lucia. In seguito costruiamo un extra giro nel percorso verso Agüimes e torniamo sulla G-65. Poi si scende di nuovo verso El Doctoral. Questo tratto percorre strade un po' più piccole, ma è un po' più piacevole e sicuro rispetto a proseguire sulla grande strada verso Vicindario. Dopodiché, con un po' di fortuna, puoi goderti la brezza favorevole verso Maspalomas.
