Dinan è un comune francese di 11 532 abitanti situato nel dipartimento delle Côtes-d'Armor nella regione della Bretagna.Piccola cittadina bretone famosa per il suo castello , il suo piccolo porto e per gli antichi edifici del centro storico. Conobbe il suo maggiore sviluppo a partire proprio dal XIV secolo, e divenne un vivace e prospero centro per almeno tre secoli. È di interesse turistico per il suo centro medievale, con le caratteristiche strade strette e case a graticcio. Annualmente vi si svolge anche una partecipata festa medievale
