La salita verso Malaucène non è molto piacevole lungo la strada principale D938. È una strada trafficata che collega Carpentras a Vaison la Romaine. Ci sono molti camion. Quindi bisogna prestare molta attenzione.
La pendenza stessa non è poi così male. Oltre la cima scende fino a Malaucène.
