Il Cold Ash Quarry è un sito geologico di 0,4 ettari di Special Scientific Interest a nord di Newbury nel Berkshire. È un sito di Geological Conservation Review.
La cava è unica in Gran Bretagna per la raccolta di piante fossili e insetti che si trovano in uno strato di limo e argilla all'interno dei Reading Beds. I fossili risalgono a circa 60 milioni di anni fa. La flora fossile consiste di foglie di angiosperme ben conservate; in alcuni di questi fossili ci sono prove dell'attività di insetti minatori contemporanei. Questo è l'unico luogo in Gran Bretagna in cui è stata scoperta l'attività di fossili minatori di foglie.
