La chiesa di Taxiarchis è la pittoresca chiesetta nel porticciolo di Vathi. Il 6 settembre qui si svolge ogni anno una grande festa per celebrare il santo patrono della chiesa e anche quello del monastero situato un po' più in alto con un nome simile (Monastero di Taxiorchon). Dalla chiesa di Vathi puoi vedere il sole sorgere sopra il passo montano di Katsistria e poi seguire la sua ascesa verso sud lungo il versante del Monte Katsistria.
