Il Circuito di San Carlo collega i paesi della valle Cannobina e prende il nome da San Carlo Borromeo in ricordo di una visita pastorale che il Santo compì in valle nel 1574. A Gurro l'antica e affascinante “Casa San Carlo” ricorda il luogo dove il santo dormì nel suo viaggio pastorale. Si tratta di un itinerario in due tappe: la prima da Cannobio sul Lago Maggiore a Falmenta, piccolo paesino della Valle Cannobina. La seconda Tappa è un itinerario semicircolare con partenza da Falmenta che raggiunge Cursolo (sulla sponda opposta del T. Cannobino). Il percorso segue quasi interamente belle mulattiere lastricate. Da Falmenta una variante della seconda tappa consente da Gurro di raggiungere direttamente Cursolo accorciando il percorso.
