Dal autunno del 2006, la libreria selexyz dominicanen si trova nell'antica chiesa domenicana di Maastricht. Duecento anni fa, la chiesa ha perso la sua funzione sacra e da allora ha servito per molti anni come, tra l'altro, deposito per serpenti, rimessa per biciclette e tempio di carnevale.
L'architetto Merkx + Girod ha progettato l'interno unico di selexyz dominicanen. Il progetto ha vinto nel 2007 il Lensvelt Architect interiorprijs, il premio più rinomato in questo campo nei Paesi Bassi.
