Questo percorso di escursione parte dalla stazione e attraversa la valle del Anstelerbeek fino all'area verde attorno al Castello di Erenstein. Dopo una passeggiata attorno al Cranenweyer, l'unico lago artificiale dei Paesi Bassi, passerete accanto alla ristrutturata Hoeve Nieuw-Ehrenstein. Arte, prato per cervi e parco giochi si alternano nel Stadspark. Poi si prosegue verso il centro accogliente di Kerkrade, con il suo bel municipio e molte terrazze. Potete concludere la vostra giornata con una visita al Discovery Museum.
