In occasione del centenario di Heveadorp (nel 2016) è stato organizzato un percorso lungo luoghi storici in questo ex villaggio industriale. Un tempo qui sorgeva una fattoria modello. Successivamente, si stabilì qui la fabbrica di gomma Hevea, da cui il villaggio prende il nome. Negli anni '80 la fabbrica fu demolita e vennero costruite abitazioni nell'area dell'ex fabbrica e nei dintorni. Maggiori informazioni sulla storia del villaggio si trovano su www.heveadorp.nl
