La contea di Macon, in inglese Macon County, è una contea dello Stato dell'Alabama, negli Stati Uniti. La popolazione al censimento del 2000 era di 24.105 abitanti. Il capoluogo di contea è Tuskegee. Il nome le è stato dato in onore a Nathaniel Macon, membro del Senato degli Stati Uniti d'America della Carolina del Nord.
La contea si trova nella parte centro-orientale dell'Alabama. Lo United States Census Bureau certifica che l'estensione della contea è di 1.588 km², di cui 1.581 km² composti da terra e i rimanenti 7 km² composti di acqua.
