De Göstinger Ruinenberg, historisch Annaberg, is een 574 m hoge voorberg van de Flösserkogel ten noorden van Graz. Bovenop staat de ruïne Gösting. De berg vormt een oostwaarts hellende graatuitloper, rond welke de Mur haar knie vormt bij het verlaten van de Alpen en het Grazbekken binnengaat, waardoor de Ruinenberg de noordwestzijde ervan vormt. Aan de zuidoostflank ligt de plaats Gösting, tegenwoordig de 13e stadswijk van de hoofdstad van Stiermarken, in het noorden Raach, eveneens een stadsdeel. Van de stadsberg Plabutsch in het zuiden is de berg gescheiden door de vallei van Thal met de Thaler Bach.
