U bevindt zich op het Dolhainplein (Place Léon d'Andrimont). Deze plek is vooral bekend om zijn monument voor de gesneuvelden, ontworpen door Charles Vivroux in 1920. Dit monument wordt gekenmerkt door een haan op een Duits helm, waarvan de betekenis zowel Waals als Franstalig is. Het gebouw werd door de Duitsers vernietigd tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog. In 1946-1947 werd een houten haan op de zuil geplaatst ter vervanging van het verdwenen embleem. In 1957 vervangt een betonnen haan de houten haan en uiteindelijk werd in 1959 een bronzen replica van de originele haan ingehuldigd.
