Volgens de atlas der Buurtwegen van 1841, stond er op deze hoek een windmolen op het kruispunt van de 'Chemin 18 Molenbeekstraat', het 'Molenveld', Chemin 17' toen nog 'Pastorijstraet' en 'sentier 74' 'Achterstemolenvoetweg', nu noemt dit gedeelte ook 'Molenveld'.
De 'Kleine Achterstemolenvoetweg' 'sentier 73', die achter de molen liep werd in de jaren 1920 afgeschaft.
