Bedoeling is van Eeklo naar Varsenare met maximalisatie offroad en toch de afstand zo kort mogelijk houden.
Stukje langs drukke N9 in Maldegem omdat : 2 keer oversteken N-9 sneller en veiliger(trager verkeer) is dan rustiger omweg langs Krommewege waarbij je N-44 moet oversteken(lichten met lange wachttijden).
