Deze overwegend vlakke route met enkele matige klimmetjes loodst je door een gevarieerd fruitlandschap. Je passeert boomgaarden en de bosrijke omgeving van Domein Nieuwenhoven. Kerkdorpjes, vierkantshoeves en kastelen kleuren het decor. Net zoals de Sint-Rochuskerk van Ulbeek die in 2012 de Vlaamse Monumentenprijs won.
