Deze korte wandelroute brengt je langs een meander van de Leie tussen Oeselgem en Gottem. Vroeger was de Leie een kronkelende rivier. Wegens economische doeleinden werd ze rechtgetrokken. Hiervoor ontstonden lussen die afgesloten werden van de Leie. Rond deze waterplassen is het fijn vertoeven.
