Het Ilmtalviaduct is een enkelsporige spoorbrug van de spoorlijn Arnstadt–Saalfeld in Thüringen.
Op 1 mei 1888 besloot het Pruisische Huis van Afgevaardigden tot de bouw van de spoorlijn Arnstadt–Saalfeld. De eerste steen van het viaduct werd gelegd op 3 december 1891. Het bedrijf Mestwarb & Greiner uit Hannover kreeg de opdracht voor de metselwerkbouw. De bouwtijd bedroeg ongeveer anderhalf jaar, namelijk tot 28 juni 1893. De sluitsteenlegging vond plaats in aanwezigheid van het prinselijk paar van Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt en andere eregasten. Vanaf 1 april 1894 werden de sporen op het viaduct gelegd. Op 18 juni van hetzelfde jaar werd het in gebruik genomen.
