Haunedorf is een deelgemeente van de gemeente Petersberg in de deelstaat Fulda in Hessen. Het dorp ligt in Oost-Hessen aan de rand van de Rhön. In het westen loopt de A7.
Op 1 september 1968 sloten de dorpen Almendorf, Melzdorf en Stöckels zich samen tot de zelfstandige gemeente Haunedorf. Op 31 december 1971 werd Haunedorf ingelijfd door Petersberg.
