Kongens Nytorv (Nederlands: Nieuwe Koningsplein) is een plein gelegen in het centrum van Kopenhagen in Denemarken. Het plein ligt tussen de belangrijkste winkelstraat Strøget en de Nyhavn (Nederlands: Nieuwe Haven), een van de meest pittoreske plekken in Kopenhagen.
Het plein werd opgericht door koning Christian V in 1670 en is in het midden versierd met een ruiterstandbeeld van diezelfde koning gekleed als imperator, een werk van de beeldhouwer Abraham César Lamoureux.
Talrijke officiële gebouwen omringen dit plein, waaronder het Koninklijk Theater, het Paleis van Charlottenborg (vandaag de zetel van de Koninklijke Academie voor Schone Kunsten), de Ambassade van Frankrijk, het Hotel d'Angleterre en het warenhuis Magasin du Nord.
