In juni 1982 werd bankier Roberto Calvi's lichaam aangetroffen, hangend onder de Blackfriars Bridge. Daarvan wordt verondersteld dat dit een belangrijke plek is voor de vrijmetselarij (alhoewel omstreden). En die link is er niet zo maar want Calvi was lid van de loge P2. Hij was tevens bankier van de Banco Ambrosiana die op zich gelinkt was met het Vaticaan. Genoeg stof voor een complottheorie. Daar bovenop werd zijn secretaresse op dezelfde dag ook vermoord aangetroffen.
